The Department of Public Works and Engineering maintains water, sewer, solid waste, storm collection, storm drainage, and flood control services, as well as, provides sound engineering advice and prudent recommendations to the Mayor’s Office regarding the planning, budgeting, and execution of capital projects.. These services and facilities protect the health and safety of the public, contribute to economic development, and improve the quality of life in our city.
