The City of Gulfport has launched an online portal for residents to submit their designs for the new city flag. The portal, accessible at gulfportflag.com, provides a convenient platform for residents to participate in this community project.

New Online Submission Portal:

Residents can now submit their flag designs online. The user-friendly interface allows for easy drag-and-drop functionality, making it simple for artists and designers to upload their artwork directly from their devices.

Extended Submission Deadline:

To accommodate the new online submission process, the deadline for design submissions has been extended to Sept. 8. This extension provides additional time for residents to create and submit their designs.

Review Process:

After the submission period closes on Sept. 8, the Gulfport Flag Commission will review all entries. The commission will select a shortlist of finalist designs, which will then be presented to the public.

“We are excited to introduce this online portal, making it easier than ever for our residents to participate in designing a new city flag. We look forward to seeing the creativity and pride that Gulfport citizens will bring to this project,” said Mayor Billy Hewes.
